Vodnjan and The Feast of St. Foška
Vodnjan, a place that hides the most numerous sacral treasure in Europe, the best olive oil in the world, and the medieval Basilica of Saint Foška, invites you to visit and take advantage of this unique opportunity to explore local heritage and faith, during the celebration of the feast day.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
One Day – February 16th, 2025 – Sunday
Departure from Zagreb around 6 AM. Upon arrival, tasting and the opportunity to purchase world-class olive oil. Departure to the Basilica of Saint Foška, celebration of the Holy Mass at 12 PM, sightseeing of the kažuni, socialising, and a meal in a nearby meadow. Afterwards you will visit the parish church of Saint Blaž for a guided tour of the sacral heritage of Vodnjan. Planned return to Zagreb is in the evening hours.
