PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

Day 1 – 11th October, 2025 – Saturday
Departure from Zagreb in the early morning hours. A pleasant drive south towards the Croatian coast follows. Arrival in Zadar and visit to the Sanctuary of St. Simeon, home to the famous Chest of St. Simeon the Prophet, containing his sacred relics. A pilgrim’s Mass will be held here, and visitors may receive a plenary indulgence during the jubilee (optional). After the Mass and time for personal prayer, a guided tour of Zadar awaits, featuring its historic monuments as the Sea Organ, and the Church of St. Donatus. Free time for coffee, a walk, or lunch at your own arrangement. In the afternoon, drive to Nin and visit the renowned Nin Saltworks and the “House of Salt” museum. Afterwards, check-in at a 4-star seaside hotel near Nin, with time to relax or enjoy a swim. Dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 2 – 12th October, 2025 – Sunday
Breakfast and checkout from the hotel. The day begins with a tour of the historic town of Nin, home to numerous cultural landmarks such as the statue of Gregory of Nin, the small Church of the Holy Cross, and ancient ruins. This is followed by Sunday Mass at the Parish Church of St. Anselm and Marcella. Afterwards, free time to enjoy a coffee, take a stroll, and explore the old town. In the afternoon, the group heads toward Zadar with a stop at the coronation Church of St. Nicholas. Upon arrival in Zadar, visit the Museum of Ancient Glass to explore a fascinating collection of glass artefacts and witness traditional glass-blowing techniques. The programme concludes with free time in Zadar to enjoy a walk, local delicacies, or souvenir shopping. Estimated return to Zagreb in the evening.
