PROGRAM SCHEDULE:
Two-Day Confirmation Pilgrimage Program
Day 1 – Saturday
Departure in the early morning hours. Visit to Lanišće (the place of martyrdom of Bl. Miroslav Bulešić). After a shared lunch, in the spirit of fellowship and prayer, we begin our pilgrimage to Kanfanar, Sveti Petar u Šumi, and Svetvinčenat. At the grave of Bl. Miroslav, as we celebrate Holy Mass, we listen to the message of a life that burned for God. The evening brings adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and a catechesis. After dinner, there is free time, often referred to as a “joyful evening,” which brings young people together in the joy of fellowship.
Day 2 – Sunday
After breakfast, the day begins with catechesis or one of the pre-arranged workshops. In the morning, we explore Vodnjan and its holy relics – 750 relics from 300 saints and 46 female saints (this part of the program can be replaced with a visit to the Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč – UNESCO Heritage site). After Holy Mass (in Vodnjan or Poreč) and a shared lunch, there will be free time, followed by departure home in the afternoon.
Three-Day Confirmation Pilgrimage Program
Day 1 – Friday
Our three-day program begins on Friday afternoon, when we depart for Istria. The first stop is Lanišće, the place of martyrdom of Bl. Miroslav Bulešić, where we will pause for prayer and reflection on his witness of faith. The journey then continues to Sveti Petar u Šumi, where a shared dinner awaits us, followed by a special time of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The evening continues in a joyful spirit – after the official part of the program, there is free time or a so-called “joyful evening,” an opportunity for young people to gather in song, fellowship, and the joy of community.
Day 2 – Saturday
After breakfast, the day begins with meditative prayer ‘Lectio Divina’ (or one of the pre-arranged workshops), followed by a pilgrimage through places associated with the life of Bl. Miroslav – Sveti Petar u Šumi, Kanfanar, and Svetvinčenat. Upon arrival in Svetvinčenat, a Holy Mass is planned at the blessed one’s grave, followed by evening adoration and catechesis. On the return to Sveti Petar u Šumi, the “joyful evening” once again brings together and invites all young people to fellowship.
Day 3 – Sunday
Sunday begins with a shared breakfast and morning catechesis, after which we pack our belongings and travel to Vodnjan – visiting one of the largest collections of sacred relics: 750 relics from 300 saints and 46 female saints (this part of the program can be replaced with a visit to the Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč – UNESCO Heritage site). After Holy Mass (in Vodnjan or Poreč) and a shared lunch, there will be free time, followed by departure home in the afternoon.
