“Josip” in Porat, island Krk

The apartment is located on the first floor and has 45 m² of well-equipped living space, including one bedroom and a lovely 10 m² terrace with a sea view. Guests are welcome to use the stone tavern with a barbecue, located behind the house—perfect for relaxing and enjoying local flavors.

We strive to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere so that every guest can truly feel at home and take beautiful memories of their Croatian summer with them. With that in mind, we’ve created a FRIENDLY program that embraces children, pets, bikes, books, food & wine, handmade products, boats, and even photography.

In the tavern, you’ll find everything you need for a unique culinary experience: a fireplace, barbecue, open-fire grill (similar to a Danish oven), gas grill, deep fryer, toaster, and waffle maker. It’s a special treat to enjoy local food, wine, grappa, or refreshing homemade elderflower juice while sitting in the prow of an old wooden boat under the fig tree in the yard.

Guests are welcome to pick fresh aromatic herbs such as basil, rosemary, sage, marjoram, bay leaf, mint, and more—free of charge. For planning your days, we’ve prepared an information desk with brochures, maps, and suggestions for excursions on and off the island, nearby towns, traditional gastronomy, national parks, and the many wonders of Croatia, available in several languages. And of course, you’ll have access to free Wi-Fi throughout your stay.
